1964 Sunbeam Tiger Mk 1

This 1964 Sunbeam Tiger Mk 1 is finished in white over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by replacement 289ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a white removable hardtop, a tonneau cover, chrome bumpers, 13″ alloy wheels, Wilwood front brake calipers, an Edelbrock carburetor, and a dual exhaust system. The car was acquired by the seller in 2021, and subsequent work is said to have involved replacing the valve covers and the trunk trim panels. This Tiger is offered with spare parts, memorabilia, a Sunbeam Tiger Owner’s Association certificate of authenticity, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name that lists the car as a 1965 model.

Delivered from the factory in Carnival Red (39), the car was repainted white with blue stripes under prior ownership. A replacement left door was also installed, and the seller notes that it is from a later model and does not shut properly. Exterior details include a white hardtop, a tonneau cover, chrome bumpers, a hood scoop, hood vents, Talbot-style mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. Holes are visible on the front fenders from previously mounted mirrors. The soft top is in need of replacement, the hardtop is in need of refurbishment, and the finish on the brightwork has deteriorated, per the seller.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel sits ahead of Jaeger instrumentation that includes a tachometer with a 4,700-rpm redline, a 140-mph speedometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows less than 2k miles, approximately 250 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
