1963 Studebaker Avanti R2 4-Speed

This 1963 Studebaker Avanti is one of 1,833 R2 variants produced for the 1963 and 1964 model years, and this example is finished in turquoise over black vinyl upholstery. Power is provided by a supercharged 289ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and additional equipment includes a 4.55:1 Twin-Traction differential, 15″ steel wheels with spoke-style hubcaps, power brakes, air conditioning, and a push-button AM radio. The car was acquired by the seller in March 2022, and subsequent work consisted of recovering the seats and driver’s door panel, changing the oil, converting the air conditioning to R134a, and replacing the battery. This Avanti R2 is offered with production order documentation and a clean New Jersey title in the seller’s name.
