EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior is finished in the original color of Raven Black (code A) as verified by the door trim tag. The selling dealer states that the paint is in fair condition with age-related damage on the hood, roof, and trunk. Features include re-plated chrome bumpers, dual mirrors, a fender-mounted antenna, side trim, rocker and quarter panel trim, stainless steel fender skirts, and rear body trim. The selling dealer states that rust is present on the right front fender and the chrome shows signs of pitting.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of black 15-inch steel wheels with full hubcaps is wrapped in Hankook whitewall radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bench seat and the rear seat are upholstered in Torch Red and cream vinyl with Raven Black cloth inserts. Features include manual windows, brakes, and steering; a red vinyl dash pad; and a column-mounted automatic shifter. The selling dealer states that the AM radio does not work.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 23,995 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by an H-code FE 352ci V8 equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and a Cruise-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. The engine comes equipped with a newer battery and a new water pump, bearings, belts, and hoses.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Fairlane is equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle with 2.69:1 gearing. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums. A new full-length dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
