1939 LaSalle 5-Passenger 4dr Sedan (Style no: 5019) finished in Empire Green paint, original color to this car! Powered by the 322 L-Head V8 that is paired up with a manual transmission. Fisher produced body with rear suicide doors and this one riding on a 120" wheelbase. Equipped with independent front suspension, custom overflow setup, semi-floating rear axle, and hydraulic drum brakes. Paint on this car is on the older side and does show well for the most part, some small imperfections here and there; see still photos for example areas. Chrome and brightwork on this in great shape and shows very well against that gloss green paint. There are modern driving lights added up front that can be turned on by a switch under the dash marked "Fog Light". Riding on black steel wheels with LaSalle wheel covers and wide white walls. Optional rubber running board installed on this as well. Trunk lid support could not hold the lid open, would need to be looked at or use a prop rod. Interior is in great shape and shows this car was well taken care of after it was redone. Tan ribbed cloth bench seat interior with manual on the column. Dash is done up with simulated wood grain and tons of chrome. On board battery tender installed below the seat so when not in use can be plugged in to keep that battery topped off. Stock fuel gauge, temp gauge, and oil pressure gauges all in working order! Radio is inop on this one. Electric fuel pump switch has also been added below the dash. Turn that fuel pump on when starting; when the car is running, you can turn the switch for the fuel pump off again. The hood latch for this is the hood ornament itself, lifting straight up will release it. Ignition sequence: Turn fuel pump switch on, turn key to "On" position, (make sure in neutral) push in the clutch, and hit the large button marked " starter" on the dash. Once up and running remember to turn the fuel pump off again. Excellent sounding LaSalle!
